EA正式宣布了《模拟城市》最新作《模拟城市：梦之都（Sim City Societies）》的发售日期，预定今年11月在北美、欧洲地区上市。
《模拟城市：梦之都》是由 Tilted Mill Entertainment 研发，而非之前研发《模拟城市》系列的 Maxis，游戏由EA发行。该游戏预定于2007年11月在北美和欧洲地区上市；《模拟城市》系列自《模拟城市》1989 年上市以来，至今全球销售量已突破1千7百万套。后续发行的系列游戏包括《模拟城市2000》（1993年）、《模拟城市3000》（1999年）和《模拟城市4》（2003年）。
